Act as liaison between Engineering, QA, Sales/marketing and Support to ensure timely delivery of Abaca's products to our target market.

Work cross departmentally to build consensus and obtain final approval on product roadmap, specifications and requirements.

Effectively communicate customer- and market - driven requirements and specifications to developers, QA, support, sales, and marketing. Develop supporting research and materials including use case scenarios, screen mockup, etc.

Confer with internal groups and finance to build consensus and define and communicate priorities using cost/benefit analysis, themes and groupings, customer urgency, etc.

Be accountable for driving resolution on questions and disagreements about product specifications and priority/sequencing questions.

Coordinate with Sales, Marketing and Engineering on the creation of product documentation and collateral as well as assist in coordination of trade shows and sales training.

Work with Marketing to develop promotional material for a successful product launch.

Manage interoperability requirements - supported platforms, tools, mail distribution agents, firewalls, identity servers, etc.

Enforce change control by obtaining sign-off on final drafts of specifications, managing changes to specifications either in the roadmap or by exception.

Light travel may be required.
