QA Manager
Responsibilities:
-
Direct the activities of the software quality assurance function.
-
Develop quality standards, procedures and policies.
-
Prioritize and execute functional, compatibility, and performance tests.
-
Collaborate with engineering to design testing methodologies.
-
Design test harness for a high throughput solution.
-
Integrate test scripts into continuous build environment.
-
Deploy and monitor Abaca's product on QA and/or staging environments.
-
Assist in the creation of installation guides.
-
Assist in build and release cycle to large scale customers.
Qualifications:
-
Must have at least 10 years overall QA experience with at least 5 years of management experience.
-
Must be an expert at testing servers and white-box testing.
-
Experience with setting up and maintaining continuous build systems.
-
Large scale operational experience.
-
Unix system admin experience including shell scripting.
-
Networking knowledge including TCP/IP and HTTP.
-
Understanding of SMTP, IMAP and LDAP.
-
Experience testing web-based applications.
-
Must understand software development release lifecycle, source management.
-
Must be able to demonstrate a well written/communicated bug report.
-
Ability to work with little to no supervision in a fast-paced environment.
-
Ability to handle many different projects and activities.
-
A self-starter.

Demonstrate ability to complete highly detailed tasks with strict attention to quality, completeness and timeliness.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
